WALTHAMSTOW Karate Class
Class Schedule
THURSDAY
7.30 - 8.30pm: ADULTS

This adult class is ideal for new students who have never done karate before! (as we are using a large gym hall, there is extra space for an additional group of students who have attained at least an Orange Belt)

FRIDAY
6.00 - 7.00pm: CHILDREN
|
A great class for children and there are also some parents who join in with their kids. Ideal for new students.
|
7.00 - 8.00pm: MIXED
|
Mixed-ability class (adult beginners welcome). It's a bit harder and more focused. To take part, you have to be determined and ready to put in extra effort! Younger students wishing to join this class need to attain at least a Yellow Belt grade.

8.00 - 9.00pm: ADVANCED
|
Advanced class for higher grade students (Orange Belts and above)

Common Questions and Answers
How old do you have to be to start?
We take children from the age of 5 years. There is no upper age limit for adults!
What should I bring?
1) Sports clothes, 2) Bottle of water, 3) Positive attitude - keep an open mind, be prepared for a bit of workout, and you're all set for an enjoyable experience.
Will there be other beginners there?
We have new students joining throughout the year, so it's very likely that there will be a beginners group when you start.
How much are the classes?
The standard class fee is £8 per person. We also offer extra discounts for families - more details are provided when you register.

Plenty of parking is available at the leisure centre. The price of £1 per hour, however you may park on the surrounding roads for free after 6.30pm

There is a bus stop right next to the leisure centre on Markhouse Road. Bus numbers are 58 and 158

Extra Notes
- The room for karate is called the "Studio" which is located opposite the reception
- Please do not use any gym equipment unless you are a gym member
- Parents are welcome to come in and watch the class
